My Daughter, the Canadian

Picked up Acadia's citizenship card yesterday at the Canadian embassy. It only took 7 months. Next step is a Passport. Note too that her last name is just Robichaud, not Robichaud Reding.

Hopefully, she can pose for her passport picture like this. . .

. . . and not like this.

Cute photos. Funny they can't even use a baby photo with a smile. Wouldn't be so bad if you could take on when sleeping but they need to see the eyes. We would have solved it by going for the photo to line up with after a nap in the vehicle. Our kids didn't wake up with a smile. Of course we would have run the risk of wailing and gnashing of 8 teeth.

A citizenship card? I guess she would need one since she was born there. At least you were able to get it. Does she have dual citizenship?

Hi, did they change her eye color in the picture? They look superimposed. Why not Reding?
