yeah, I love No Sleep by Sam Roberts, too, but the french verse is a little cheesy...
Not a lot of 'heavier' stuff in there. Although I have been known to mellow out too. Most of the songs listed here, I don't think I've heard. I quit listening to the radio for the most part. Especially in the mornings. Not a lot of intelligent banter in the Edmonton market these days. Now if they actually played some music, I might reconsider listening again.
I'm with you on the radio thing. I have really enjoyed CKUA and CBC1 for the years I lived in Edmonton. Got to know some really great bands off those stations. CBC1 does play some music in some of the afternoon programs and on weekends.
I can listen to hard stuff, but I have to be in the mood and it has to be loud. I'm turning into a ballad junkie with the dinky little stereo system I have down here.
Oh, I forgot to mention - I love that French verse in "No Sleep."
